He/Him/El
I am a 1st-generation American , bilingual (English/Spanish), psychotherapist, tarotist, and spiritualist.
My experience in working as a mental health counselor extends back more than 10 years. I have worked with clients ranging from mild to severe mental illness, assessing their symptoms and creating effective plans for managing their challenges. My extended education of two Master’s degrees (Psychology and Counseling) have awarded me the knowledge and strong theory base needed for helping clients with a variety of mental health issues.
As a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist, I understand and focus on how losing someone or something (a job, an apartment, a role/identity etc.) can cause a mixture of emotions, potential trauma, and overall needing to find peace through the daily suffering and regular reminders of what’s been lost.
While it can be overwhelming, I offer support and guidance so you can understand your grief and help you accept and grow from it. I also have knowledge and experience in working with a variety of mental health issues and personal challenges from my time spent in community mental health.
I invite and honor all of your identities, traditions, cultures, and rituals and welcome you to bring them into our work together for helping you in your healing process.
Sessions available in English and Español.
“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
