Nature has an innate healing aspect that other treatments don’t share. Our relationship with our ecological environment can directly impact our mood, energy levels, and overall physical and mental health. Some direct examples might be how you feel throughout your day when it’s rainy and cloudy vs. a bright, sunny one. Another might be how air pollution might cause dizziness, nerve damage, respiratory issues, and more vs. breathing in fresh mountain air in the Fall. Nature is undeniably a huge influence in our lives in some way.
The more we connect with it, the deeper we’re able to heal and link to it’s rhythms. Time spent in nature has the ability to ground us, and research has shown the positive effects on helping people with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, attention problems, reduce aggression, improve impulse control, and more.
Nature-based sessions with me are tailored to meet your needs and levels of comfort. A session may be conducted at a park, taking a walk on a dirt path, or going into the woods for a hike. Outdoor sessions are offered throughout the year, as long as there is no severe, inclement weather that risks your safety.
